As a personal injury attorney with Morris Bart, I am fortunate to be able to live in New Orleans but work in both our New Orleans and Baton Rouge offices. When I’m not working on my client’s personal injury claims, I like to enjoy all that Baton Rouge has to offer.
Why I Love Working in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Every day, I drive through the beautiful Maurepas Swamp WMA between New Orleans and Baton Rouge and relax and reflect on the day ahead…or behind.
When I am lucky enough to be able to plan my visits on a Friday, I can take in free music at Live After Five, across from the courthouse.
Home of LSU and Southern University, I also enjoy the college town atmosphere, from tailgating before an LSU football game to baseball games at The Box to watching the Southern University Band, “The Human Jukebox”.
Often before heading back to New Orleans, I drive around the LSU lakes and through the gorgeous neighborhoods and rolling hills in areas such as College Town, Lakeshore, and University Hills.
Last, but certainly not least, Baton Rouge offers a wide variety of delicious and award winning cuisine.
From 24 hour diner fare at Louie’s Café to some of the best seafood anywhere at Parrains Seafood Restaurant to the local outpost of New Orleans’ famous Galatoire’s.
Although I love New Orleans, I always look forward to my getaways to Baton Rouge.
