The accident happened on Lamey Bridge Road after driver Carl Daniel Young Jr. and passenger Catrick Tasha Moye-Howell fled a police traffic stop. According to the SunHearld, police continued pursuing the duo after they crashed into Berry’s Ford. Young Jr. and Moye-Howell then attempted to flee on foot and deputies shot Moye-Howell twice.
Young Jr. now faces charges for felony feeling with possession of a stolen vehicle, aggravated assault on a police officer, and leaving the scene of an accident causing serious injury.
