A group of doctors who are part of the University of Alabama’s football staff sprang into action earlier this month when they were leaving a game and drove past a campus police officer who had been struck by a motorist. According to the Daily Journal, the doctors were less than 1 mile from the stadium when they spotted the scene. An LSU campus police officer was escorting a motorcade on a motorcycle when a car struck him.

Officer Was Already Unconscious When Doctors Reached Him
Despite their immediate response at the scene of the accident, the doctors admit the officer was unconscious and unresponsive when they reached him. Two Killed in Crash After Car Veers off Road
AL reports on a car crash in Mobile that left two people dead after the vehicle veered off the road and struck a large oak tree. According to police, responders pronounced two people dead at the scene. Local police received a call around 9 p.m. last Monday informing them of the accident.
They found an unidentified 35-year-old man driving the 1999 Honda CR-V with a 34-year-old woman as his passenger. Neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing seatbelts, and both died in the collision. No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and police are still investigating the cause.
