Monday, September 19th, 2022, saw the dedication ceremony of the new The Joy and Boysie Bollinger Performing Arts Building at the Isidore Newman School. With this event, Cathy and Morris Bart were pleased to announce the Bart Gallery which is located inside the building. The gallery will feature student artwork alongside the school’s permanent collection and is named for Cathy and Morris Bart and their $500,000 donation to the project.

The 5,500-square-foot building also has two rehearsal rooms for the school’s band and choir programs and three practice rooms. Construction on the $6.5 million building originally began back in April 2021 and ended just recently. Woodward Design+Build served as architect and contractor for the project. Additionally, Cathy Bart sits on the school’s Building and Grounds Committee which helped to make this project possible.
