Morris Bart, LLC Community Service Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet all the following eligibility requirements:
- Hold a 3.0 grade point average (GPA)
- Currently enrolled or accepted to attend an accredited college, university or graduate school
- A history of community service, volunteerism, or fundraising in their community
- Write an essay in response to the prompt below

Community Service Essay Topic
To be considered for the $2,500 Community Service Scholarship, all applications must submit an original essay on the following topic:
“What is the meaning of service?”
We want to understand why service is important, how you have helped your local community, and what service means to you. The best essays will be well-crafted and include engaging stories and personal anecdotes. Please limit submissions to 750 words.

Community Service Scholarship Terms and Conditions
To qualify for the Morris Bart, LLC Community Service Scholarship, applicants must be either enrolled or accepted to attend an accredited college or university. Both undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply.
Applications must be submitted via the Community Service Scholarship page and be completed in full. Applications submitted in part or via any other method of communication, including email and mail, will not be considered by the scholarship committee.
Anyone who meets the following conditions is NOT eligible to apply:
1. Employees or children of employees of Morris Bart
2. Past recipients of the Community Service Scholarship
3. Applicants who are unable/unwilling to be interviewed by a representative of Morris Bart if he/she were to be awarded to scholarship.
4. Applicants who submit the same essay for multiple scholarships
Community Service Scholarship Selection Process
All applications will be considered by an impartial Scholarship Committee assembled by Morris Bart, LLC. The committee will consider all eligible applicants equally based on the content of their applications and without consideration for race, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, or other protected categories.
The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to request additional information or documentation from applicants on a case-by-case basis. Failure to provide the requested information may disqualify your application.
Please note, the Scholarship Committee’s decision is final. No appeals will be permitted.
