Tamyra Craig, a native of Harvey, Louisiana, joined the Morris Bart team in June 2015. She is a 2010 cum laude graduate of Louisiana State University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. After completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Craig attended the Southern University Law Center, where she graduated magna cum laude in May 2013. While attending the Law Center, Ms. Craig was a published Senior Editor of the Southern University Law Review, a student attorney in the Southern University Criminal Clinic, a legal fellow of the Southern University Law Clinic, Senate Exquecher of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity, and a student member of the American Inns of Court.
Immediately following law school and throughout 2014, Ms. Craig served as a term judicial law clerk to the Honorable Chief Judge Brian A. Jackson at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, where she was able to gain exposure to both civil and criminal cases and perform clerk duties pertaining to numerous areas of the legal practice.
Ms. Craig is licensed to practice before all Louisiana State Courts.
