Lourdes Salazar is originally from Guatemala. She graduated from the Universidad Francisco Marroquin School of Law in 2005. She practiced several fields of law and she got her certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala. In 2018, she moved to the US, in 2019 she got her LLM from the Loyola University Law School and in 2020 she was admitted to practice law in the State of Louisiana.
Lourdes Salazar has more than 15 years of experience. In her practice years in Guatemala, Lourdes handled a large portfolio of personal injury cases and was also the in-house attorney for large corporations such as Novartis, Suzuki and Honda. She has also worked as a corporate attorney and auditor at firms.
Prior to joining Morris Bart, Ms. Salazar was a Law Fellow for the Gillis Long Poverty Law and then worked as an immigration and personal injury attorney in Louisiana.
