Ms. Johnson is originally from Memphis, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Memphis where she majored in Political Science. Ms. Johnson went on to graduate, cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law and received her J.D.
While in law school, Ms. Johnson studied abroad in China and South Korea where she studied jurisprudence principles of Asian Law, Tribal Law, and Islamic Law, as well as international Status of Forces Agreements. She also served as President of the Family Law Society, Philanthropy Chair of the Keady Inn chapter of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and a pupil in the Charles Clark American Inn of Court.
Ms. Johnson also worked as a law clerk for the Traffic Resource and Safety Prosecutor, Special Assistant Attorney General for the DUI Division, a sector of the Mississippi Attorney General Office’s Public Integrity Division. She is licensed to practice in Mississippi.
