Esmeralda Graham is originally from Taos, New Mexico. She graduated from the University of New Mexico School of Law in 2003. While in law school she was awarded the Dean’s Award for her academic achievements and was active in the Mexican American Law Students Association and a member of the Hispanic Bar Association Moot Court Team.
After law school, Ms. Graham went in to private practice in the fields of personal injury and criminal defense in New Mexico. During that time, she practiced extensively in cases involving automobile, pedestrian, and truck accidents along with civil rights violations and employment claims.
Prior to joining Morris Bart, Ms. Graham worked at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in the domestic violence division where she offered free legal services to victims of domestic violence in the area of family law. Ms. Graham is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and is licensed to practice in all Louisiana and New Mexico State Courts and the Federal District Court for the District of New Mexico.
